The Syneron Comet Laser delivers 2 pulses per second making one of the fastest lasers of its kind in existence for the medical removal of body hair. This allows large body areas such as the legs, chest, arms and back to be effectively and simply treated in less than 30 minutes!

The laser operates on the principle of selective photothermolysis whereby melanin absorbs the energy and heat build-up in the shaft results in destruction of the follicle. We apply a cool gel and use a handheld treatment unit to deliver very rapid flashes of energy that safely penetrate the skin and disable hundreds of hair follicles simultaneously. Much of the hair is removed immediately with the remaining hair falling out within a week or two. Due to the properties of the hair growth cycle, only hairs in the anagen (active) phase will be affected during treatment so multiple treatments are necessary with laser hair removal.
