Doctor Junker's Community Service

In addition to public education, Dr. Junker has a longstanding commitment to community service. The foundation of this community service is based on Dr. Junker's philosophy of promoting health in those who are most in need. He helps those in need of medical services in all parts of the world.

On a local level, Dr. Junker has worked with the indigent population in Arlington County for the last five years. He provides Volunteer physician services at the Arlington Free Clinic.

Additionally, Dr. Junker has an interest in working with victims of natural disasters, and religious and political persecution. He has lectured extensively on tropical medicine & disease, and worked with medical missionaries to equip them to help those people with the greatest needs. He is teamed up with Strategic World Impact (SWI) and Cross Link International to bring medicine and care to several countries in Africa. SWI is a ministry that is global in nature, immediate in response, and dedicated to caring for the most oppressed people in their most distressed times. Dr. Junker has made numerous trips to Sudan and Eritrea, Africa, delivering food, shelter, and medicine with compassionate concern.
