Telangiectasias are abnormally dilated blood vessels associated with a number of diseases.  They may develop anywhere within the body but can be easily seen in the skin.  Facial telangiectasias are associated with age, sun exposure or alcohol use. 

There are multiple laser treatments for telangiectasias.  We use an IPL^TM (Intense Pulsed Light) which actually uses Intense Pulsed Light for treatment.  Multiple treatments may be necessary to optimize the results.
